Gin! Hosted in our unique underground venue, The Lost Close, this underground gin tasting is an adventure through the history of gin and its connections in Scotland.
You'll sample 4 very different gins, with different tonics and garnishes so you can mix it to your own tastes, each one tied in to the stories that our expert guides will recount.
Over the course of 60 minutes, you'll learn about the process of creating gin, and the story behind how it came to be one of the most popular spirits enjoyed across the world today.
For all bookings of day tours, a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, no refund is given.
For all bookings of multi-day and custom private tours, a minimum of 72 hours' notice prior to your scheduled departure is required in order to receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made with less than 72 hours' notice, no refund is given*
*Note that in the event the client requests a refund for any reason, Tour Desk reserves the right to charge a 3% administration fee to cover costs incurred.

Thanks for booking the Underground Gin Tasting with us!
Your evening will begin in the CoDE Pod Hostel, 1A Parliament Square - please be there 15 minutes before the start time to make sure that we can start promptly; come on in to the hostel reception, and once we're all ready to go, your guide will take you underground to The Lost Close, and the evening will begin proper.
Please note that there are 2 Code Hostels in the city, and this is The Court - 1A Parliament Square. Any trouble finding us, you can call reception on 01315109380
It can get chilly underground, so we do recommend bringing a warm jacket/jumper just in case!
